Trust and Obey
Below there are 300 things that are God’s will for any and all of us. I’m sure you can add to the list.
- Being what He wants me to be every moment
- Isaiah 64:8 But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.
- Present your bodies a living sacrifice
- Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, wahich is your reasonable service.
- Don’t be conformed to the world, love not the world
- Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
- Walk in the Spirit
- Galatians 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
- Sing and make melody in my heart
- Ephesians 5:19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;

- Socialize/celebrate in honor of the Lord’s goodness to you

- Obey those who God has placed over you
- Ex: Esther and Mordecai – Esther 2:10 Esther had not shewed her people nor her kindred: for Mordecai had charged her that she should not shew it.
- Let God be the avenger

- Don’t gossip

- Number your days and apply your hearts to wisdom

- Don’t be prideful
- Jas_4:6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
- Don’t be lazy
- Rom_12:11 Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;
- Return anger with a soft answer
- Pro 15:1 A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.
- Hear reproof
- Pro_15:31 The ear that heareth the reproof of life abideth among the wise.
- Choose your words wisely
- Pro 15:23 A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth: and a word spoken in due season, how good is it!
- Study so you know how to answer

- Be slow to anger and don’t let the sun go down on your anger

- Stay away from strong drink

- Buy the truth and don’t sell it.

- Don’t envy sinners
- Pro_23:17 Let not thine heart envy sinners: but be thou in the fear of the LORD all the day long.
- Be more concerned about a good name rather than making money
- Pro_22:1 A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold.
- Be prudent
- Pro_14:8 The wisdom of the prudent is to understand his way:
- Don’t stay too long at your neighbor’s house
- Pro_25:17 Withdraw thy foot from thy neighbour’s house; lest he be weary of thee, and so hate thee.

- Be industrious

- Take care of your body
- 1 Corinthians 6: 19-20 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
- Dress nicely/attractively Remember, although God knows our hearts man looks on the outward appearance. We don’t have to look like we came out of a rag bag.
- Psalm 45:13 The king’s daughter is all glorious within: her clothing is of wrought gold.
- Look well to the ways of your household
- Proverbs 31:27 She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.
- Submit one to another
