A Blogging Party – A way to bless and give to others

My daughter, who runs  The Imperfect Homemaker and The Deal Scoop Blogs, was able to have a party last evening at my house.  My house is larger so it was more convenient for guests.  We had such a fun and relaxing time.  She was able to accumulate products from different companies and give a review on them to her guests.  After winning points through different games that we played, we were able to use those points to “buy” the products that she had for review.  The one with the most points chose first and so we went around to each guest from largest points to smallest letting each take a turn to choose a gift.  Such fun!  We munched on snacks that were actually part of the review products,  played games, talked and laughed, and went home with gifts instead of feeling obligated to buy something.  Now you can’t beat a party like that!  Obviously someone had to do the work and yes, my daughter did put a lot of work into it.  Why?  Because she wanted to bless others!  That is what this season is all about – giving to others. –Acts 20:35  . . . remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

Some of the products recieved came from:

Below are some videos of some of the guests playing games and also some pictures of the products that I received.

In the first video,  they were trying to blow each other’s cup off the table.  The one who was able to keep their cup from being blown off was the winner.

In the second video, they had to balance the cookie on their forehead and try to get it into their mouth without using their hands.

Below, MaryEllen tells us about some of the products.  Before the night was over, the card table beside her was covered with different products.

Below are some of the specific products that I received.
