Adorned – Living Out the Beauty Of The Gospel Together
Author: Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth

What woman does not want to be beautiful? But there is much more beauty than outward beauty for that soon fades. It is inward beauty, inward adornment that really matters. This book, Adorned, is an in depth study with instructions to women from Titus 2. These instructions teach women how to have in influence on one another that God intended.
It’s a book that teaches older women how to relate to younger women and vice versa. That is completely awesome. I’ve often thought about the older women teaching the younger, but in reality, there is so much we can learn from one another. How important to involve women of all ages in your life so that we can encourage one another to walk with the Lord and allow the beauty of the Lord to be seen in our lives.
I also love how the book is laid out. The contents include three parts:
- A Woman Under God
- A Woman Under Control
- A Woman Under Her Roof
As you finish each chapter you find it personalized so that you can make your own application in your daily life. There are questions for the older women and questions for the younger women each one making you give great thought to what has been written and how you can or should apply it in your own life.
I love this quote by the author:
My heart’s desire is to be a Titus 2 woman. Consistently. Contentedly. Beautifully. To be adorned with the gospel and to adorn the gospel in the eyes of others. — Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth
It’s a great book to be read on your own, with a friend, or in a group together. A group guide is provided through the website adornedbook.com .
