Are You Ready? Five things to be ready for.

ARE YOU READY FOR HEAVEN? ARE YOU READY TO DIE?

Are you saved?   You can know for sure that you are on your way to heaven.

John 20:31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

1 John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

ARE YOU READY TO LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE?

Are you telling the lost world of salvation by grace through faith? Are you right with God so you can be a witness? Are you equipped with the Word of God and other witnessing tools?

Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Equip yourselves with the Armour of God.

Ephesians 6:10-18 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

ARE YOU READY IN SEASON AND OUT?

Are you studying God’s Word, hiding in in your heart and meditating on it?  As you enter each season of life, are you growing in the Lord, getting to know Him more and more so that you can be ready to share His Word?

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

2 Timothy 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

ARE YOU READY TO DO THE GOOD WORKS THAT GOD INTENDED FOR YOU?

Are you doing the works God wants you to do? Or are you doing your own thing? We are His workmanship.

Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

ARE YOU READY TO LET GOD HAVE FIRST PLACE?

God cannot accomplish anything in our live if He is not first through our full surrender to Him.

2 Chronicles 30:8 . . . but yield yourselves unto the LORD, and enter into his sanctuary, which he hath sanctified for ever: and serve the LORD your God,…

Romans 6:13 . . . but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.

Romans 6:19 . . .  even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.

ARE YOU READY TO STAND BEFORE THE LORD?

Are you fulfilling God’s purpose for you?  One day as a child of God we shall stand before the Lord and answer to Him. Have you walked daily in the way of the Lord, letting Him order your steps so that you will be  ready for that day?

Psalms 37:23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.

Isaiah 58:11 And the LORD shall guide thee continually, . . .

Romans 14:12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.
