    Sunrise, Sunset

Sunrise, Sunset Is this the little girl I carried? Is this the little boy at play? I don’t remember growing older When did they? Sunrise, sunset Sunrise, sunset Swiftly flow the days Seedlings turn overnight to sunflowers Blossoming even as we gaze Sunrise, sunset Sunrise, sunset Swiftly fly the years One season following another Laden with happiness and tear   You may recognize some of the words above from the lyrics of “Sunrise, Sunset” from “Fiddler on the Roof” The words are a good reminder of how swiftly the days go by and that our lives are but a vapor. Object Lesson:  Rotten Potatoes Have I looked for rotten potatoes in my life? Is there something stinking but I am not sure what it is?  Am I willing to do a good soul searching and heart cleaning in order to separate the good from the bad? I need to get the…
