Don’t Fall For The Devil’s Lies – The Truth Can Set You Free!

You definitely cannot do this!  You are just not good enough at it.  You totally just don’t get it.  You’ll never match up to what so and so has done.  You might as well give up because it just is not going to happen.  What’s the use anyway; there’s so much out there than someone can get that information anywhere.  Who’s gonna listen to you and what you have to say?  And on and on it goes.

Yes, this is a lie of the devil that I often fall for and he attacks me with it often.

I have to remind myself that it is a lie.  In actuality, I cannot do anything without the Lord’s help.  But since I am a child of His I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.  God is my strength and power: and he maketh my way perfect. (2 Samuel 22:33) My confidence needs to be in the Lord alone.  I don’t need to fall for any of the devil’s lies because the Truths from God’s Word will set me free.

This book would make a great Bible study alone or in a group.  Each chapter is summarized with the lies and then the Truths from God’s Word to combat those lies.  It’s a great book to help you search your own heart to see what lies you may possibly believe and then ask God to reveal the Truth to you.  You may or may not agree with everything the author says, but it is definitely true that the devil is the master of lies and he is definitely out there to lead you astray. Don’t fall for his lies!  Search the Scriptures,  find the truth and the truth will set you free.  And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. (John 8:32)
