Gratitude – Days 29-30
November 29, 2012
- Isaiah 30:18 And therefore will the LORD wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the LORD is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him.
- I am giving thanks for the Lord’s graciousness – I just love that word. It shows that the Lord is gentle, kind, loving, merciful, patient, all the things that would attract someone to Him. Not just the unsaved, but the saved who get backslid, discouraged, rebellious, and forget or refuse to obey. He is gracious and waits on us. What a God I serve! He is mine!

- I am thankful that God saved me as an 8 year old child and though often discouraged and not sure of salvation He never gave up on me and kept pointing me back to the time when I put my trust in Him as a little Girl. Wow! To think that I am one of His children.
Psalms 8:4 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
Luke 12:7 But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.
Isn’t is amazing how much God loves us!
- I am thankful for adversity because through adversity, God shows us and teaches us what He wants us to have and graciously and patiently waits for us to learn the lessons He is trying to teach us.
Isaiah 30:20-21 And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner any more, but thine eyes shall see thy teachers: And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.
Although 30 days of praise are up as far as blogging goes, our praise to our God and Saviour Jesus Christ ought never to be done. It ought to be continually in our mouths.
Psalms 34:1 I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
Hebrews 13:15 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
Psalms 147:1 Praise ye the LORD: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely.
