I’m thankful that I was a poor and needy sinner, yet the Lord looked upon me and had compassion. He drew me to Himself and saved my by His grace. Oh what undeserving mercy! Oh what incomprehensible grace! How can it be that God would love a soul such as I? I believe it is important to help the poor and those in need, but more important to show them the love of Christ and how he can help their poor and needy soul. John Newton said, “I remember two things very clearly: I am a great sinner and Christ is a great Savior.”
