LIFE!

In Him was life and the life was the light of men. John 1:4

Joining with Five Minute Friday Link Up – LIFE

Life is a vapor – it appears for a little while and vanishes away. (James 4:14)

He came to give life and to give it more abundantly.(John 10:10)

Whoever has the Son has life. (1 John 5:12)

The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23)

Do you want to live forever?  There is only ONE WAY.  That way is through Jesus Christ.  He is THE WAY, THE TRUTH, and THE LIFE! (John 14:6)

He came to give life and to give it more abundantly.  We can have abundant lives as we walk with the Lord day by day.

Do you want this abundant life?  You can have it if your willing to look and live.  Even as the serpent was lifted up in the wilderness, so was the Son of Man (Jesus) lifted up on the cross to die in our place for ours sins.  Look to the cross and live.  Look to the cross and receive everlasting life.  Look to the cross and walk in abundant life every day.

Don’t forget, your life could end at any time.  We have no promise of the next second of life.  What will you do and where will you be if death knocks on your door today? (Watch this video)

Are you ready?  Have you been born again?  Have you received life anew?

New Life in Christ abundant and free!
What glories shine, what joys are mine,
What wondrous blessings I see!
My past with its sin, the searching and strife,
Forever gone — There’s a bright new dawn!
For in Christ I have found new life.
I hope you have found that new life.

Love your scriptures you chose to share – and your message: death could knock on our doors at any time. Are we ready!

Ellen, you inspired the sonnet below. Hope you like it!

He is the Way and the Truth,
the Life that we can share.
Jesus is the living proof,
and He’ll meet us in the air
on that glad and wondrous day
when we escape the mortal coil
and ascend, without delay,
and with no need for toil,
for we are His, we are chosen,
we are those for whom He bled,
and hell will be forever frozen
for death is now come dead.
We choose the Gospel’s bright release
and find in Him our perfect peace.

Thank you. So glad that Jesus is The Way, The Truth, and The Life. Without Him, there would be no hope and although our earthly bodies are dying, we can be assured of life everlasting if we are His.
