Only Jesus Can Satisfy
Only Jesus can truly satisfy your soul.
Psalms 107:8-9 Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.
Psalms 17:15 As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness.
ONLY God can truly satisfy our souls. We may find temporary satisfaction in the things of this world, but they do not last.
As we praise Him for His goodness and wonderful works, we will find our longing and hungry souls to be satisfied. Satisfied with what? With goodness that only God can give!
Our ultimate satisfaction will come when we behold Him face to face and our sin natures are gone forever!
Face to face! O blissful moment!
Face to face—to see and know;
Face to face with my Redeemer,
Jesus Christ who loves me so.

The world will try to satisfy that longing in your soul
You may search the wide world over but you’ll be just as before
You’ll never find true satisfaction until you’ve found the Lord
For only Jesus can satisfy your soul

Now the Question remains – I am (can) always be satisfied with Jesus, but is He satisfied with me? Have I done my best for Him and lived for Him as I should?
Is He satisfied is He satisfied
Is He satisfied with me
Have I done my best have I stood the test
Is He satisfied with me
When my Lord shall come again
when He walks and talks with men
What if every friend He had were just like me?
Would He feel a welcome here
or would He go away in tears?
Am I all that I should be, is He satisfied with
-unknown
Jesus is the ultimate satisfaction. We will be fully satisfied the day we behold Him face to face in all His glory!
Psalm 17:15 As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness:
I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness.
What a day that will be when my Jesus I shall see,
And I look upon His face,
The One who saved me by His grace;
When He takes me by the hand
And leads me through the Promised Land,
What a day, glorious day that will be.~Jim Hill
