Pleasures That Never End

The World seeks pleasures, fun, and entertainment continually.  As Christians, we too (or at least I) struggle with this.  One is always looking for something else to  satisfy  or give happiness.  Truly, the only satisfaction and real pleasures are found in Jesus Christ.  Once we know Christ, the following verse gives a great promise.

Psalms 16:11  Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

What a great promise!

The only satisfaction and real pleasures are found in Jesus Christ

Day by day He lights our path and shows us the way to go.

May we keep our eyes on Him and follow so that we do not wander from path of life.  All other paths lead to destruction. Matthew 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

No matter the circumstances, in God’s presence, our joy is full.

Even in the midst of trial, sorrow, or pain, we can have joy because of His presence.    Hebrews 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

How we desire pleasure!  God promises pleasures forever more – everlasting pleasures!

Can you even imagine it!  Earthly pleasures do not last, but life in heaven will give us pleasures that will never end. Moses realized that!    Hebrews 11:25 Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;
