Praise Ye the Lord – Sing Unto the Lord a New Song

Colossians 3:10  And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

Psalms 149:1  Praise ye the LORD. Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints.
Praise the Lord He has made me a new creature through the blood of Jesus Christ.  Old things have passed away and all things have become new.  (2 Cor. 5:17)  Oh, how important that this new man is renewed in knowledge after the image of him (Jesus Christ) for He is my creator.  I can renew my mind and heart each day by spending time in the Word of God, studying, memorizing, meditating, and making practical application to my life.  This will make me a new man and will allow the Lord to perform a good work in me until the day of Jesus Christ.
Becoming a new man will also put a new song in my mouth.  And God’s Word promises that many shall see it and fear and trust in the Lord. Psalms 40:3  And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.   I praise the Lord for the gift of music and how easily I can acquire music that exemplifies a new song in my mouth.  Have you heard of Abiding Radio.  You can go HERE and listen to godly music 24/7 and you can choose Sacred, Instrumental, Seasonal, or even Kids!   Wow!  What a blessing that is!  It is music that, when heard, it certainly makes it known that you have a new song in your heart.
There’s a new song in my heart
Since the Savior set me free
There’s a new song in my heart
    Tis a Heavenly Harmony
All my sins are washed away
    In the blood of Calvary
    Oh what peace and joy
    Nothing Can destroy
There’s a New song in My heart
