We must exalt Him! Only He is worthy to receive glory and honor and power
How much do we really exalt the Lord?
It matters not how great you are, whether you are a mighty ruler or a lowly peasant.
The rich and the poor meet together
Are you rich, poor? It doesn’t matter. We are all sinners in need of a Savior.
No one of us is going to escape the wrath of God unless we have been justified by faith.
Moses, Aaron, and Samuel were a few of the great leaders in the Bible. They called on the name of the Lord and He heard and answered their prayers. They interceded for the people and God answered their prayers. (Psalm 99:6)
Yes, God forgave them just as He forgive us.
But they were still sinners in need of forgiveness. (Psalm 99:8) He forgave them because of His grace. Praise God He forgive our sins, and by His grace we can be saved.
He never excused the sin of these men nor will He excuse any man’s sin.
He took vengeance of their inventions
Psalm 99:8…though thou tookest vengeance of their inventions
How many times to we do our own scheming and think of ways to get vengeance or to cover our own sin? It doesn’t work and can never happen. All things are open and naked unto Him with whom we have to do. (Hebrews 4:13) And no one can forgive sin except God. (Mark 2:7)
He is just the same today!
He is the same God today – “Holy, Holy, Holy.” We must exalt Him. He is holy, righteous, just and only He is worthy to receive glory and honour and power. (Revelation 4:11)
Psalms 99:6-9
Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among them that call upon his name; they called upon the LORD, and he answered them.
He spake unto them in the cloudy pillar: they kept his testimonies, and the ordinance that he gave them.
Thou answeredst them, O LORD our God: thou wast a God that forgavest them, though thou tookest vengeance of their inventions.
Exalt the LORD our God, and worship at his holy hill; for the LORD our God is holy.
