Thanksgiving and Praise To God – God Fights For Us

I’m very thankful for our veterans who have fought for us. I’m grateful for those who are now fighting for us and for many who have given their lives for our country. What bravery and what loyalty! Thank God for each and every one of them. Thank God for the freedoms we have because of them.

God fights for us

God’s Word says, If God be for us, who can be against? The answer is no one! It is He who fights our battles. If we are armed as we should be, then He will fight for us. Let us be careful to put on the whole armor of God every single day.

Ephesians 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Then as we go into battle against God’s enemies, we can be assured that the battle belongs to Him.

Exodus 14:14 The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.

God won the battle against Satan when He sent His only Son, Jesus to die for us. Death was defeated that day and because of it we can now be free in Christ. When we know the Truth it sets us free.

One day death and hell shall be cast into the lake of fire.

Revelation 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. – this is a sad day for the unbeliever because the wages of sin is death and without Christ, he must pay the price for his sin.

But for the Christian, death will be totally defeated.

Revelation 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

The battle will be over forever! For the Christian Death is the gate to heaven and Jesus holds the key. We need never fear that it is going to defeat us.

1 Corinthians 15:56 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

1 Corinthians 15:57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
