Thanksgiving and Praise To God – GOD IS GOOD!
There are so many ways we can give thanksgiving and praise to God when we read Psalm 118. Here are a few.
V1 He is good. His mercy is forever
V5 He answers me in my distress and sets me free
V6 He is on my side – I need not fear what men can do to me
V13 He is my helper in the midst of perverse nations
V14 He is my strength and son, my Salvation – I hope He’s your Salvation
V18 He chastens me yet allows me to live – if it were not for His mercy we would all be consumed
V19 He is the gate of righteousness and allows me to enter-There is only one way to enter that gate?
V21 He hears me
V22-24 He is the Corner Stone
V27 He has led us to THE LIGHT
V28 HE IS MY GOD! Is He yours?
V29 Once again we are reminded that God is good. There is only one good and that One is God! His mercy goes on forever.
Don’t let a day go by without thanking Him. And if you haven’t tasted of that mercy, you can do so today. Come to the Savior, make no delay. He will save you by His grace through faith in Him. (Ephesians 2:8-9)
