Thanksgiving and Praise to God – He is My Help and Strength
This was one of those days that I really needed help and strength to do what was right. I wasn’t feeling well and neither was the other person in my household. 🙂 Therefore the day did not start off too well.
His grace was sufficient during this time to meet my needs. It was His strength that was made perfect in my weakness.
2 Corinthians 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
His grace is all I need
It is all I need in every weakness and trial, for it is His power that works best when I come to Him in my weakness. His strength is perfect; I have no strength without Him.
John 15:5 . . . for without me ye can do nothing.
As I avail myself of His grace and realize His strength is working through me, it causes me to give glory to God! It makes me a joyful person.
As I’m glad for these weaknesses I see more and more His power resting on me.
As I come to Him for rest, His power rest on me. There is nothing for me to do, but let His power display it’s perfect work through my weakness. Do you know any better help or strength that this?
