THE GREAT TEACHER – Psalm 119:12

The Lord Himself IS THE GREAT TEACHER! Blessed art thou, O LORD: teach me thy statutes. Psalm 119:12

Blessed Art Thou

My praise should be continually to the Lord. How can I bless Him? He blesses me over and above anyway in which I could bless Him. I could never return to Him how much I owe, yet I am still to bless Him.

I have been blessed with the glorious gospel so I can in turn give it to others.

According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust. 1 Timothy 1:11

Blessed and Only Sovereign

There is no one else worthy to be blessed, but the LORD! He is willing to be my Lord and He in His mercy chooses to bless me!

…who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords; 1 Timothy 6:15

Teach Me and Give Me Understanding

Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, Luke 24:45

The Lord is The One who opens our hearts and minds to understand the Scripture.

…he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. John 14:26

He has given us a comforter, helper, counselor, the Holy Spirit to teach us.

…just as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things and is true and is no lie, and just as it has taught you, you shall abide in Him. 1 John 2:27

We are anointed with the Holy Spirit and He teaches us all things.

Read and Meditate

As I read and meditate on the Word of God daily, may I be taught by the Holy Spirit and have more understanding. I am a student of the Lord and must study His great text book. Otherwise, there is no proper learning. He alone is THE GREAT TEACHER.

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15
